my backstory:

I accidentally became a model; it was never a part of the original plan. I graduated from James Madison University with my Bachelor's in Nursing. While I was in college, I was asked to model gowns for a local bridal shop. I took the opportunity with zero idea of what I was doing, and was hooked from there. I moved to Washington, D.C. after graduating and started working as a nurse, but I couldn't shake the feeling that modeling was what I really wanted to pursue. I worked full time as a Labor & Delivery RN at night in order to model full time during the day (and continued to do so for 7 years). I sought out every opportunity to shoot and build my portfolio from the ground up. I kept attending castings and slowly but surely began to expand my network. I found my original niche in swimwear and fitness modeling, and haven’t looked back since.

My first year as a model, I worked hard to get my foot in the door with the industry. I pushed my way into runway world despite my height, and fell in LOVE. I can't stress enough how many rejections I received trying enter the runway world as a petite model. I took every 'no' as a chance to prove myself more, and worked hard to land bookings alongside the industry-standard height models. I found myself walking in Miami Swim Week three months after my first ever runway in April 2022. From Miami Swim Week, I booked DC Fashion Week, then New York Fashion Week, and eventually found my way internationally to Paris and Milan. I have every intention to keep traveling wherever this crazy journey takes me.

The beauty of the fashion industry lies in how ever-changing and dynamic it is. I'm passionate about pushing industry standards. Models should be judged on their walk and skill level— not solely their height. I'm passionate about helping petite models find their confidence and learn how to out-walk their competition every single time. I’m a firm believer that persistence and persona development are vital to becoming a successful model. Fake it till you make it! There is constantly opportunity to improve and push yourself harder. I love working as a model mentor and coach to help guide other models towards reaching their full potential.

I travel all over the world for bookings, but spend the majority of my time between NY, DC, and Miami. I'm signed exclusively in NY, and have several other non-exclusive contracts with US-based agencies. Modeling has been an absolute dream come true for me in every way. I still wake up everyday with a sense of overwhelming gratitude that I'm able to pursue my dream; it still doesn't feel real.
